Grandpa Wins a Big Award

At the recent Student Chapter of the American Fisheries Society Conference, in February in Loveland, CO, Grandpa Wayne won the award for the Best Professional Presentation. His talk was titled: "Trammel Nets for Sampling Burbot in Lentic Systems. Are They a Reasonable Tool?"
Next to Grandpa Wayne is his grad student, Anna Senecal, who won the award for the Best Student Presentation. Next to her is UW undergrad, Richard Hays, who won the award for Best Poster. Needless to say, UW made a big haul that evening. Plus, Grandpa won a spinning
rod, too!!
